Play Blackjack

Take a seat at a six-deck blackjack table built for practice. Every card comes from a finite 312-card shoe, played cards stay out until the cut card is reached, and the dealer stands on every 17.

How this table plays

Build a hand closer to 21 than the dealer without going over. Number cards use their printed value, face cards count as 10, and an ace counts as 1 or 11—whichever helps the hand.

  • Blackjack pays 3 to 2. Other winning hands pay 1 to 1.
  • The dealer stands on hard and soft 17.
  • Double down is available on the first two cards, including after a split.
  • Matching-value cards may be split into as many as four hands. Split aces receive one card each.
  • Insurance is offered when the dealer shows an ace and pays 2 to 1 if the dealer has blackjack.

A finite six-deck shoe

The table shuffles six complete decks and deals cards from that inventory in order. A red cut card is placed 52 to 78 cards from the back. When the cut card is reached, the current round finishes and the full shoe is shuffled again.
